Michael Thomas, MD

Michael A. Thomas, MD, is Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Thomas is also Director of Reproductive Medicine Research, a clinical research unit that is funded by federal and private institutions, at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Thomas is the Principal Investigator of the Contraceptive Clinical Network on the National Institutes of Health and has grants from many pharmaceutical companies. His research interests include contraception, infertility and the effects of stress on reproductive function. Dr. Thomas has extensive experience in treating multi-faceted infertility issues and endocrine disorders ranging from infertility, abnormal puberty, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome and menopause to disorders of the thyroid and adrenal gland. He is trained in microsurgery and hysteroscopy, as well as operative and laser laparoscopy.
