The Division of Medical Education at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology  recognizes the importance of incorporating global health training as well as international research and academic collaborations for our residents and faculty.  International research collaborations have been developed with other countries in South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. There are currently international research collaborations in the field of Uterine Biology and Endometriosis with scientists in China, Italy, Puerto Rico, Romania, South Korea and Sri Lanka.

Dr's Asgi T. Fazleabas and Sun-Wei Guo collaboratively participated in the research project Mechanism of histone deacetylase inhibitor as potential therapeutics for endometriosis, the theme of which was Women's Health translational Research in Endometriosis. The funding partners were National Collaborative Initiative Peoples Republic of China.

Uterine Biology and Endometriosis - Drs. Asgi Fazleabas, Jaewook Jeong, Han Jae Yong, Jeong M. Lim and Yong Sang Song  have been selected by Seoul National University to serve at World Class University Professors in the Department of Biomodulation during the 2013 Spring Semester. The World Class University Professors program brings faculty to develop and enhance innovative research and education programs at Korean Universities and foster research in key growth areas.
