Hannah Bolder

Hannah Bolder is an Assistant Professor in the Maternal Health Equity Lab at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Michigan State University. She uses quasi-experimental methods to research the determinants of access and utilization of healthcare services and how this affects health outcomes. Current projects involve measuring maternal morbidity, investigating how expanding insurance coverage affects utilization of healthcare services and the effects of legal medical malpractice standards of care on physician behavior. Prior to joining Michigan State, she completed her PhD in Economics at the University of Michigan.
