Kenneth S. Korach, Ph.D.

Kenneth S. Korach is a Senior Principal Investigator, Chief of Reproductive and Developmental Biology Laboratory, Chief, Receptor Biology Section at NIEHS/NIH. He received his Ph.D. degree in Endocrinology from the Medical College of Georgia, post graduate training as a Ford Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Ken joined NIEHS in 1976 where he heads a research group investigating the basic mechanisms of estrogen hormone action in reproductive tract and other hormone responsive tissues. He has published more than 400 scientific papers, written 110 review articles and book chapters, edited 5 books on various topics of estrogen hormone action and endocrine disruptors.
