For the second year in a row, two members from the OB/GYN team have been awarded the SRI and Bayer Discovery/Innovation Grant from the Society for Reproductive Investigation. Dr. Jitu George, Research Associate, received the award for his project titled: The Role of CBX family proteins in uterine fibroid proliferation and fibrosis. Dr. Tae Hoon Kim, Assistant Professor, was awarded the grant for his project: The Pathophysiology of progesterone resistance in endometriosis. Award recipients will be honored at SRI’s annual meeting, which will be held from March 12-16, 2019 in Paris, France.
