Welcome to the ObGyn Division of Medical Education
The Division of Medical Education assists the department on all related educational missions by providing training, research and support to educational needs including curriculum development, faculty development, evaluation, clerkship administration and implementation, development of innovative learning and teaching tools and APGO learning resources.
Our program is a community based program that administers and supports eight campus communities across the state of Michigan for the third year medical students. The diversity of our communities provides students with unique and rich clinical experiences during their rotations. Our third year Ob/Gyn clerkship continues to be highly recognized in the College of Human Medicine and at the national level.
Our division also supports the MSU-CHM Affiliated ObGyn Residency Network (AOGRN) which includes five residency programs across Michigan: UofM Sparrow (Lansing), Corewell Health (Grand Rapids), Henry Ford Providence (Southeast MI), Hurley (Flint), and Henry Ford Health (Detroit). The division provides support by providing the Basic Science lecture series and by promoting synergistic educational and research collaborations.
