choiHe is a professor of the Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biotechnology at Konkuk University. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Animal Science, Texas A&M University, College Station in 2002 and performed his postdoctoral training in the Department of Molecular and cellular biology, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. Dr. Choi’s research fields are development and differentiation of gametes (oocyte and sperm) including regulatory mechanism of primordial follicle activation in the ovary and meiotic regulation in the testis. He is also currently investigating the effect of uterine environment on implantation of embryo using knockout or conditional knockout mouse model.
