Haengseok Song

Dr. Song is an associated professor of the Department of Biomedical Science, CHA University. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Molecular & Integrative Physiology, University of Kansas Medical Center in 2002, after which he moved to Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis for his postdoctoral training in the Department of Pathology and Immunology.

Dr. Song’s research interest is primarily focused on understanding uterine environments for successful embryo implantation, called uterine receptivity, and molecular mechanism(s) of estrogen signaling in the endometrium using various conditional knockout mouse models with Cre-Loxp system. He and his research group are also interested in various pathophysiologic conditions of obstetrics & gynecology, such as Asherman’s syndrome and preterm labor.
